Understanding Calories Burned

These calculators use scientifically validated Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) values to estimate calorie expenditure:

How the Calculation Works

Duration-based formula: Calories = (MET × weight in kg × 3.5 × duration in minutes) / 200

Distance-based formula: Calories = MET × weight in kg × distance in km
